Q-School Finals- Include a PGA Tour Caddy and Double Heart Transplant Survivor

The final stage of the PGA TOUR National Qualifying Tournament — otherwise known as q-school — begins this week. The final stage will be held Dec. 1-6 at Orange County National in Winter Garden, FL. Every player who reached the finals has some degree of status on the Nationwide Tour but only the low 25 and ties are exempt on the PGA Tour for 2011.
Notable players at final stage include double heart-transplant survivor Erik Compton, four time PGA Tour champion Carlos Franco, three time PGA Tour champion Scott McCarron, two time US Open champion Lee Janzen, former PGA Tour winners Jason Gore, Mark Hensby, Peter Lonard, Will Mackenzie, Joe Ogilvie and Dicky Pride. Former US Amateur Danny Lee, teen phenom Ty Tryon who qualified for the PGA Tour at age 17 and a full time PGA Tour caddy (for Camilo Villegas) Brett Waldman.
